I can relate to this, all the way on the other side of the world, in NYC. I had the experience of seeing a mob of angry protesters, in a protest whose sole goal was to force NYU Langone to continue prescribing Lupron for off-label use on 12-year-olds to prevent them from going through natural puberty because - they don't want to. These protesters, of course, also made clear that they want young teens to be given synthetic cross-sex hormones, have healthy body parts chopped off, and fashion faux body parts using chunks of their flesh - all so they can look like the opposite sex. These protesters didn't ever mention the many risks to the health of these young people because, as I learned in front of about 100 trans activists at 3 school board meetings I attended where trans activists came in droves to fight back against a resolution suggesting that the Board of Education re-visit a policy of putting males in female sports, they don't care about the risks. (The activists at those school board meetings laughed, coughed or, at the third meeting, danced the Macarena, when, as part of my 2 minutes to speak, I listed off things like infection, incontinence, increased risk of stroke, heart attack, cancer, and, of course, infertility and sexual dysfunction from so-called "gender affirming care.")

Like the protesters at the Let Women Speak rallies and the rallies to actively prevent women from speaking, the NYU Langone protesters - mostly women in their 20s through 40s, men in their 20s and 30s, celebrities like Cynthia Nixon, politicians, and trans-identified men - the protesters became more hostile when they encountered our tiny counter-protest, consisting of a total of 10 people. For context, there were upwards of a thousand protesters. We were standing quietly, and I believe 6 of us had signs. They said things like: "Children can't consent," "Stop cutting kids," "Save the tomboys," "Read the Cass Review." Billboard Chris was wearing his usual lunchboard sign. None of us were spewing hatred. We were 2 men, including Chris, and 8 women ranging in age from early 30s to late 50s. Our group was told to "kill ourselves," called "cowards," said to be "not welcome," admonished "shame on you." One man opened his jacket to reveal a "kill Nazis" shirt as he pointed at us.

Apparently, anyone who is asking for women to have single-sex spaces or single-sex sports, or seeking to prevent young, confused individuals from being chemically and/or surgically assaulted based on feelings of discomfort about their bodies is a bigoted transphobe who can go to hell. We are living in dark, scary times. I am thankful to everyone such as yourself who is fighting the good fight!

I think we should start a nonprofit here in the US that helps women from Australia immigrate here, if they want to. Now that Australia legally promotes the interests of men with a woman gender identity over actual women, it seems a case can be made that women, especially lesbians, should qualify as refugees.

According to Amnesty International, a refugee is a person who has fled their own country and is unable or unwilling to return because they have a well-founded fear of persecution based on one of five reasons: their race; religion; nationality; membership of a particular social group; or political opinion. Persecution means a threat to life, freedom and other serious violations of human rights.

Australian law prevents lesbians from organizing groups and events that exclude men. That is a violation of their human right to associate with only other lesbians. Lesbians with the political opinion that sex is real, that sex is binary and that it's immutable are oppressed by heterosexual males who pretend to be women and who therefore believe themselves to be lesbians. Because they want to screw women. And it's not just lesbians who suffer under this kind of oppression. Any woman who wants to have a female-only hiking group can be sued for gender identity discrimination. I think that qualifies as a violation of women's human rights.

C'mon Australian women. We'll welcome you here in America.
